Cerebrals Cognitive Abilites Test (CCAT) [136 questions]
Xavier Jouve, Ph.D., Maria Faverio, Michael Woodley, Ph.D., Karin Lindgren & James Watterson, Ph.D. (2003)

This psychometric tool is a computerized culture based cognitive abilities battery. The test-taking is currently free and automatically done! It gives confidence intervals to interpret scores.
We wished to use it as at least a pre-admission method in the future. We need to collect new data in order to perform more psychometric analyses of the criterion related validity, so we're looking for poeple who already took the reasoning tests of the SAT, the ACT and other tests such as the WAIS, etc. Please note: this test is normed for adults only.

Any questions? Feel free to use the Public Discussion Board.

Figure Design Test [20 questions]
  Xavier Jouve, Ph.D. & Gilles Bernard (2004)

This test is an original and very powerfull computer adaptation done by Gilles Bernard of the well-known Kohs' Block Design test type. It gathers 20 visual coloured figures that must be reproduced by the test-taker. The FD test chielfy measures the visualisation factor which is one of the main traits into the factorial structure of general cognitive abilities. It also gives an indication of perceptual speed and short-term memory along with other experimental modalities.

Test of Inductive Reasoning (TRI) [54 questions]
  Xavier Jouve, Ph.D. (2003)

This professional test is a computerized nonverbal intelligence test designed to assess one's eductive ability. It is prepared with figurative items. With excellent reliability coefficients, the TRI as shown very high correlation coefficients with both the SAT I sum of scaled scores, and the SAT I Mathematical reasoning test scaled score. It also very highly correlates with traditional intelligence tests as the WAIS-III or the SIT-R. Thanks to the nonverbal nature of its items, this test is suitable for testing persons without cultural bias.
