" Cerebrals society is dedicated to the search of high intellectual giftedness among individuals, bringing highly gifted individuals together, and making full use of high intellectual giftedness for the good of human society in general, where possible. Cerebrals society will strive to reach understanding and promote thoughtfulness within as without, to spread what it gathers and reach always one step further into uncertainties of humanity. In this, we may fail from time to time, but final successes are always traced by the failures that preceeded.  "

(1) Dr Jouve and Cerebrals Officers have received numerous e-mails regarding these tests. We discussed this issue and we would like to clarify the situation. The Cerebrals Society and Jouve Testing are two distinct entities. Some tests designed by JouveTesting have indeed been offered for admission purposes to Cerebrals applicants. Anyone is welcome to apply to Cerebrals membership via a successful score for an accepted self-administered test.

However, please follow the instructions. If only one attempt is allowed, score for a second set of answers will not be given. If payment is required, score will not be given before the fee payment. It is to be noted that requests for score explanations will be given at Dr Jouve's entire discretion, without justification. Dr Jouve has indeed been flooded by dozens and dozens of e-mails from people who did not follow instructions. For months, he made the effort of replying each of them, but because of time constraints he cannot do so any longer. Cerebrals Officers, because they are not linked to Jouve Testing, are unable to provide help and/or comments about these tests. As a result, despite their wish to be open and active, they might not reply these mails if numerous. Cerebrals Officers already offer sometimes a very substantial part of their free time to the development of the Society.

We thank you for your understanding.

(2) The second set of Raven's Advanced Progressives Matrices is eligible for membership only if the applicant provides a score report that shows the raw score. The Mensa report that indicates an IQ score for the APM II is no longer accepted for admission.
