A new verbal test by Ivan Ivec called Einplex. It is a pilot version, moderate difficulty test containing mostly easy items few moderate and fewer hard. It is not that time consuming as Lshr, Numerus and Triplex but something like the light versions of his tests. I think it will be free until 31 August (at least thats what i understood).

Totally worth giving it a shot.

Yes Aarin i thought the same. I take back the "mostly easy items few moderate and fewer hard." as my score is in range 16-20! Send yours and give us a feedback for your "shit that test is ridiculosly easy!!" reaction! I will be waiting! :mrgreen19:

Aarin- If you are sure to get a high score at no charge, why don't you just submit your answers! Please keep in mind that the light versions tests may be somewhat unusual compared to most tests. Sure some of the answers are very easy, but some of the later ones are really hard, and not getting them correct prevents you from scoring over 160 for example. On the numerus light their are a couple of hard problems that make this barrier more difficult to cross. Sure it may not be that difficult to score over a certain amount initially, but difficulty grows exponentially.

Stoyo- 16-20 seems like a pretty good score range. Let's hope it's the 20 that you got. I think that the verbal tests on hrls tend to overestimate scores but that raw score should put you in a nice position!

Ergo society doesn't accept verbal tests for submission so i guess you are right.

Edit: New score on 40 items is 21-25. I kinda screwed up in the 10 new items so i should be near the 20s in first.

yes. Ergo is only spatial/numerical. If it wasn't, I would have a much easier time getting in, as would everyone else! I'm really not surprised that their are so few members. It's very challenging to score an average of 4 sigma on 5 spatial numerical tests since the norms usually aren't that generous. If you look at incognia, Luis Perez Ostoa makes his own norms for some of the tests including the slse 1. In my opinion, these norms are very harsh and make it impossible to join from the slse 1 alone, considering the fact that the world's highest score on any attempt doesn't even qualify. Of course, almost everyone scored lower on the cerebrals contest 2009 then the slse 1, but I honestly think that the questionnaire may have revealed that the contest norms were a little harsh as well. Anyways, nice work stoyo and everyone else. Hope the einplex is fun!

Dear aaron, I think your link of Incognia is obsolete. Luis has withdrawn his norms. The current link is http://www.incognia.org/is.swf

I better not. I mean how many 3 and 4 letter words there in the English language. Either that, or my brain is too much of a jack in the box (hotshots guy and not in person), and so sorry for the little wrist and lamb pizzle stuff guys.

I got both 30 and 40 item version corrected within 24h. Just wait and if you get no response within (a reasonable time of) 3 days from the time you sent your answers, then try to contact him again.

P.s. Yes, waiting for your test results can make you VERY anxious! :cheesy19:
